How
does the service operate?
The
NoGo service involves controlling unauthorized
parking for clients on their privately owned land by means of tailoring
the client a customized parking solutions package; using signs,
parking permits, warning notices, tickets and finally wheel clamps
and only if necessary towing. This No Tow service is an often-preferred
solution, being safe and effective!
Is
there a charge for the service?
This
will depend on your needs, if our signs eliminate the problem and
there is no need for enforcement on the property, then we have a
small monthly fee to cover the cost of our dispatch and signs. When
our signs are posted on your property, you have the choice of a
no fee call out service or an active patrolling service watching
for unauthorized parking and reporting any suspicious behavior to
you. Some active lots with repeated parking violations will be eligible
for a no fee service.
How
we conduct the business?
1.
No Go No Tow, contracts locally licensed security companies to carry
out the patrol and enforcement service. The personnel are licensed,
trained and uniformed as a consistent image for parking control.
This includes lot signage, individual notifications and set-up.
2.
The service is set up to operate 7 days per week and 24 hours per
day if needed.
3.
The patrol service adds a security of knowing any observed suspicious
activity can be reported to your company.
4.
All the patrol vehicles used are clearly marked as patrol vehicles.
5.
All our operators follow a contract clamping procedures manual that
demands ethics first.
6.
All patrols provided are tracked by GPS / all infractions are digitally
recorded.
7.
The signage always has the parking culprits contacting No Go No
Tow dispatch- the owners of the lot will be relieved of any confrontation
or collection of fees.
8.
We encourage you to inform us of your clients using our parking
permit system so the use of your lot becomes focused for your benefit
only.
It
is legal?
Wheel clamping of unauthorized vehicles on private property is covered
by the laws of trespass and the torts and covered by local parking
enforcement bylaws.
The
private landowner, representative or agent, are legally within their
rights to use wheel clamps or tow a vehicle to control unauthorized
parking on private property – and charge a fee for such an
action. This right can only be exercised if the correct procedures
are adopted.
